Terms of Service
Last updated: April 27, 2026. Please read these terms carefully - by creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's licence in your jurisdiction to use Rolls & Digs. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that both are true. The service is not directed to anyone under the age of 18.
2. Sanctioned use only - public roads prohibited
Rolls & Digs is intended exclusively for use on (a) closed courses, (b) sanctioned drag-strip or autocross events, or (c) private property with the owner's consent. You may not use Rolls & Digs to plan, conduct, time, or record races on public roads. Doing so violates these Terms and is illegal in most jurisdictions. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that show patterns consistent with public-road use.
3. Assumption of risk & release
Motorsport activity is inherently dangerous and may cause serious injury, death, and property damage. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you voluntarily assume all such risk. You release and hold harmless Rolls & Digs, Technooptics LLC, our officers, employees, contractors, and partners from any and all claims arising out of your use of the service or any related activity.
4. App is not a safety system
Rolls & Digs provides telemetry tooling and community features. It is not a safety system, official timing system, race steward, or substitute for professional driving instruction. We make no representation that any reading, prediction, alignment indicator, traffic alert, or countdown is suitable for any particular use.
5. Account responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. You may not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
6. Subscriptions & payments
Optional paid plans (Pro, Pro+) are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your profile; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Where required by law (e.g., EU/UK distance-selling rules), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from initial purchase, subject to lawful exclusions for digital content already used.
7. Content and licence
You retain ownership of content you upload (cars, photos, build notes, race traces, group posts). You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, and display that content solely as needed to operate and improve the service. You represent that you own or have the rights to upload everything you submit and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.
8. Acceptable conduct
You will not: harass other users, post unlawful or hateful content, attempt to disrupt the service, scrape data without permission, reverse-engineer the app, or use it to facilitate illegal activity. We may remove content and suspend accounts at our discretion.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are endangering others. You may delete your account at any time from your profile. Sections 3, 4, 7, 10, 11, 12, and 13 survive termination.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Rolls & Digs harmless from any third-party claim arising out of your breach of these Terms, your content, or your use of the service in violation of applicable law.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) USD 50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or personal injury, even if advised of the possibility.
13. Governing law & dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis (no class actions), except where prohibited by your local consumer-protection laws. Nothing here limits any non-waivable rights you have under your home jurisdiction's laws.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in-app and by email. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
